Everyday I Write the Book - Elvis Costello
Posted in: Elvis Costello by on October 8, 2008
Born in 1954, Elvis Costello wasn’t exactly born Elvis Costello. He was actually Declan Patrick MacManus–not exactly the perfect name for his eventual punk rock and New Wave stage time. This song, Everyday I Write the Book, came to fame in 1984. By then, Elvis had found his own unique sound. He’s still going strong, as I can personally attest, having had the great pleasure of recently seeing him in concert.
If you can’t get enough of him after one measly video, you can hop over to the official Elvis Costello website. A great place to bop around.
I had the great pleasure recently of seeing Elvis Costello sing “Everyday I Write the Book” live.
